Synopsis
The purpose of this Bill is to amend The Criminal Code Amendment Act 2009. This Bill extends the application of mandatory sentencing provisions contained in sections 297 and 318 of the Criminal Code to include assault and grievous bodily harm offences committed against youth custodial officers.
