Long Title | This Bill will amend the Freedom of Information Act 1992, the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1971, as well as other Acts. The Bill aims to -
regulate the handling of personal information by the public sector; regulate the handling of health information by the public and private sectors; create a right to apply for access, and amendment of, health records held by the private sector; and
facilitate the exchange of personal or health information held by the public sector in appropriate circumstances. |
