SynopsisThe purpose of this bill is to amend the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 and the Residential Parks (Long-stay Tenants) Act 2006 to provide for termination of tenants' interests on the grounds of family violence, and for related matters.
Status Assented to
Royal Assent given 26 Feb 2019 as Act No. 3 of 2019. Different sections of this Act come into operation on Royal Assent and Proclamation. For details refer to Commencement Clause of the Bill (see also Assent and Commencement information for Acts)
