Long Title

The purpose of this Bill is to enable and facilitate the identification of contaminated sites so they may be recorded on a free public database. It facilitates the management and remediation of contaminated sites, and informs the land transaction process so no one should acquire a contaminated site not knowing it to be contaminated.

Royal Assent given 7 Nov 2003 as Act No. 60 of 2003. This Act comes into operation on a day fixed by Proclamation
