This Bill is the foundation of a legislative package that reforms the lower courts in Western Australia. The Bill is the vehicle to implement a range of Law Reform Commission recommendations and to set up a new court, the Magistrates Court of Western Australia, with the capacity to deal with both civil and criminal matters, and able to sit at various locations throughout the state. |
