Long Title |
The purpose of this Bill is to replace the record keeping aspects of the Library Board of Western Australia Act 1951 and provide for the establishment of an independent State Records Commission, which will strengthen public sector accountability through effective record keeping, provide a standard-setting and monitoring function reportable directly to the Parliament and take account of technological and administrative trends in record keeping. |
