This Bill makes amendments to various pieces of legislation to accommodate the introduction of the Criminal Investigation Bill 2005 and the Criminal and Found Property Disposal Bill 2005. Broadly, these changes include repealing antiquated provisions that will be repealed by modernised provisions in the Criminal Investigation Bill, amending references in the other Acts, amending other Acts to come into line with the Criminal Investigation Bill's concepts and replacing repealed provisions where it is inappropriate to include the replacement within the Criminal Investigation Bill. |
