Western Australian College of Teaching Bill 2003
|Long Title||The purpose of this Bill is to establish the Western Australian College of Teaching. The College will be a professional body for teachers, administered by teachers and will represent all teachers in Western Australia. The main emphases of the Bill are -|
enhancing the status of the profession of teaching; to ensure on-going professional development of all teachers; establishing professional standards and values for teaching in schools; and
administering the schemes of teacher registration and disciplinary proceedings.
