Long Title

The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Environmental Protection Act 1986 to ensure: the independence of the Environmental Protection Authority; effective protection of native vegetation and clearing controls; the incorporation of sustainability principles into the Environmental Protection Act; improved impact assessment processes under the Act; and more effective post-approval monitoring of major projects.
