(3) What disruption to bushland around the campus will take place during the development?

(4) What role does the vegetation corridor provide to native species?

(5) What threatened and endangered species have been noted in the area?

(6) What community consultation has taken place on the development of the Shenton Park health campus?

Hon COL HOLT replied:

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question.

(1)–(3) Retention, clearing and disruption of bushland will be determined through the master planning process.

(4)–(5) The role of the vegetation corridor and the presence of threatened and endangered species will be identified during the completion of environmental reports that will inform the master planning process.

(6) LandCorp has commenced high-level consultation with the identified key stakeholders—that is, the City of Nedlands, the City of Subiaco, the Department of Planning, the Department of Health, the Urban Bushland Council and service providers—and the surrounding host community with a dedicated website and information line available to interested parties. LandCorp has commenced preparation of a detailed engagement strategy to inform the master planning process.
