              (1) How much did the conservation plans and heritage interpretation strategies cost in relation to the following projects —

                  (b) City Link; and
                  (c) Riverside?
              (2) How much of the Esplanade budget has been put aside for heritage interpretation?
              (3) How do these amounts compare to the $1.5 million the Government will spend, in addition to the $277,000 already spent, on information advertisements for infrastructure projects?
Answered on 6 November 2012

(1) (a-c) In relation to the Elizabeth Quay project, the Perth City Link project and the Riverside project, there has been approximately $1m spent on conservation plans and heritage interpretation strategies.

(2) Heritage and conservation studies for the Elizabeth Quay project will be commissioned from the approved $440m budgeted for the project, with an adequate amount allocated to heritage and conservation.

(3) These figures are non-comparable.
