With regard to the biological valuations of native forests as per the Forest Products Commission's annual reports:
(a) what was the biological asset value at the beginning of the year, of the area logged in each of the years 2002-03 through to 2017-18, and what was the revenue received for the area cut, the actual point-of-sale costs and the necessary costs to get the assets to market in each year (as described on page 60 of the Forest Products Commission (FPC) Annual Report 16-17); and
(b) please confirm whether ‘actual point-of-sale costs and the necessary costs to get the assets to market’ include all related costs of operating the FPC such as, administrative costs, management costs, etc?

(a) Native forest biological asset values are not specific to individual areas of forest; it is done at an aggregate level of the available forest estate. A comprehensive explanation of biological assets is provided in the Financial Statements of the 2017-2018 Annual Report section 2.17 page 59, see Attachment 1.
