STATE HERITAGE–LISTED
PLACES
283. Hon LYNN MacLAREN to the
minister representing the Minister for Heritage:
I refer to
question without notice 1052 of 12 December 2013.
(1) Will the State Heritage Office
survey the approximate one-third of listed heritage places for which it has no
record of a conservation management plan and request a copy of any privately
commissioned plans for its library?
(2) If no to
(1), why not?
(3) If yes
to (1), when can this process be completed?
(4) Is it government policy to
request that a conservation management plan be prepared by each recipient of a
grant under the heritage grants program?
(5) If no to
(4), why not?
Hon
HELEN MORTON replied:
I thank the
member for some notice of the question.
(1) No.
(2) Conservation management plans are
added to the State Heritage Office library as and when they become available.
(3) Not
applicable.
(4) No.
(5) The need
for a conservation management plan is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
