Question

(1) Is the Forest Products Commission (FPC) responsible for covering the costs for each of the:
(a) new roads for:
(i) Mowen 1; and
(ii) Mowen 2;
(b) upgrades to existing roads or tracks for:
(i) Mowen 1; and
(ii) Mowen 2;
(c) construction of log landings;
(d) the most recent dieback survey in:
(i) Mowen 1; and
(ii) Mowen 2;
(e) an on-ground flora and fauna survey for:
(i) Mowen 1; and
(ii) Mowen 2;
(f) a desktop flora and fauna survey for:
(i) Mowen 1; and
(ii) Mowen 2;
(g) an assessment of the likely impacts on water systems; and
(h) other costs incurred in the planning and preparation for logging in:
(i) Mowen 1; and
(ii) Mowen 2?
(2) For each in (1), if no:
(a) which expenditure is not the responsibility of the FPC; and
(b) which agency bears the responsibility for that expenditure?

(1)(a)(i)-(ii) Yes

(b)(i)-(ii)  Yes

(c) Yes, harvesting contractors engaged by the Forest Products Comission (FPC) are responsible for construction of log landings for Mowen 1 and Mowen 2.

(d)(i)-(ii) Yes

(e)(i)-(ii) Yes, the FPC is responsible for covering the cost of on-ground flora surveys on areas disturbed by road works and log landings for Mowen 1 and Mowen 2. The FPC is also responsible for covering the cost of on-ground fauna surveys if required. 

(f) Yes

(g) Yes, the FPC would be responsible for covering the costs of an assessment of the likely impacts on water systems for Mowen 1 and Mowen if it was required.

(h) Yes
