LANDS — ALFRED HINES SEASIDE CAMP —
LANDCORP 2014–15 ANNUAL REPORT
1199. Hon LYNN MacLAREN to the
minister representing the Minister for Lands:
I refer to question without notice 806 asked on 25 August and
LandCorp's 2014–15 annual report.
(1) Will the
minister please table all conditions associated with lot 1786 on deposited plan
164231 held in the name of the Crippled Children's Seaside Home
Society?
(2) Page 7 of
the annual report refers to the Mangles Bay business plan, a $250 million
transformational project for Rockingham; will the minister please name the main
components of this $250 million cost and where the money will come from?
(3) In relation to (2), has the projected cost since increased?
(4) With
regard to the prediction on page 20 of the annual report that the number of
metropolitan boat owners in WA will double by 2031, what is the baseline date
for this projection and which research report is it based on?
Hon
DONNA FARAGHER replied:
I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1) Lot 1786
on deposited plan 164231 is held by the Crippled Children's Seaside
Home Society in conditional freehold title—previously crown grant in
trust—with the only condition being the land is to be used solely for
the purpose of ''home for crippled children''.
(2) The $250 million refers to the projected net revenue for
the project, not costs.
(3) Not applicable.
(4) The
research was based on the then Department for Planning and Infrastructure's
technical report 444 titled ''The Perth Recreational Boating Facilities
Study 2008'', which was dated February 2009.
