Hon

I thank the member for some notice of this question.
(1) Eight country regions and three metropolitan regions.
(2) East Kimberley, town of Halls Creek, August 2006.
(3) Great southern, town of Katanning, July 2013.
(4) As at 31 July 2013, there were 2 974 applications on the
priority list, representing 6 902 people.
(5) The
department forecasts that 455 public housing dwellings will be completed in the
2013–14 financial year. This includes 101 dwellings that are forecast
to be completed by community housing growth providers. These dwellings will
contribute to addressing the waitlist.
(6) The
initial target identified in the ''Affordable Housing Strategy 2010–2020:
Opening Doors to Affordable Housing'' was to increase the supply of
social housing by building a minimum of an additional 3 500 social housing
dwellings by mid-2013. As at 30 June 2013, the state government has delivered 3
864 additional social housing dwellings.
