Question
(1) I refer to the Midland St John of God Hospital, and ask if the Catholic healthcare provider at the new Midland St John of God
Hospital will carry out the wishes of advanced health directives pursuant to
the Guardianship and Administration Act 1990 for local residents who will be
serviced by the new Midland hospital?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) If no to (1), what procedure will the Government put in place to ensure the wishes of
patients are adhered to in respect of their advanced health directives
pursuant to the Guardianship and Administration Act 1990?
