Question

(1) Have any of the members of the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) Board, or their relatives, held directly or indirectly shares in Cedar Woods or any company connected with Cedar Woods between the years of 2005 and 2014, while the EPA was considering matters concerning proposals to construct a marina at Cape Peron, specifically:
(a) section 16 Strategic Environmental Review;
(b) the scoping study for what was then called Cape Peron Marina Based Tourist Precinct;
(c) the Public Environmental Review;
(d) the appeal; and
(e) reports to the Minister?
(2) If yes to any part in (1), which members?

The Minister for Environment provided the following response.

(1)(a-e) Section 12 of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 requires Environmental Protection Authority Board members to disclose direct or indirect pecuniary interests in any matter before the Authority. No Environmental Protection Authority members declared any conflict of interest (including direct or indirect pecuniary interests) concerning Cedar Woods in regards to any matter before the Board between 2005 and 2014.
