Long Title | The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Competition Policy Reform (Western Australia) Act 1996, the Federal Courts (State Jurisdiction) Act 1999, the Gas Pipelines Access (Western Australia) Act 1998, the Jurisdiction of Courts (Cross-Vesting) Act 1987, the National Crime Authority (State Provisions) Act 1985 and the New Tax System Price Exploitation Code (Western Australia) Act 1999 so as to omit provisions that purport to confer State jurisdiction on Federal courts. It also makes minor amendments to the Corporations (Western Australia) Act 1990 that are consequential upon changes made to the Corporations Law by legislation of the Commonwealth Parliament. |
